Anna Kendrick cranked up the glamour in the pages of Fashion Magazine’s February 2015 issue, flaunting a sultry look in a form-fitting taupe top adorned with delicate cut-outs. In one striking image, she rocked the outfit, showcasing her toned physique with the intricate design along the sleeves and waist.
Completing her alluring ensemble, Anna accessorized with eye-catching long earrings and sported a bold red manicure, adding a touch of allure to her overall look. Known for her versatility, the talented actress can currently be seen portraying a fairy-tale character in Disney’s movie adaptation of Into The Woods, where she shares the screen with Chris Pine, who plays her not-so-charming prince.
Contemporary woman: The 29-year-old actress from Into The Woods looked radiant in a striped top and mint green skirt for her latest magazine cover, hitting stands on January 12. In her interview, she explains why she doesn’t believe in the concept of Prince Charming.
Flash in the pan: Anna is perfectly happy being single, stating in an interview, “I’ve never been attracted to flashy, superficial guys like quarterbacks or Prince Charmings.”
She praised the unique concept of Cinderella being cheated on by her prince, calling it both twisted and brilliant.
Similar to her character on screen, Anna is not easily swayed by compliments or showmanship.
“I’ve never been one for flashy guys who are all style and no substance,” she explained, referring to Chris Pine’s portrayal of Prince Charming as comical and spot-on.
What’s not right: the person from Maine said that falling for someone who jokes about letting go of the steering wheel is not the best idea.
Anna described Chris Pine’s performance as Prince Charming in Into The Woods as both hilarious and accurate, emphasizing that he nailed the character’s style but lacked depth.
Flying solo: Anna shared with Fashion, “I’ve recently come to the realization that there’s no point in dressing up if I’m not enjoying myself.” She recalled a previous date where a guy picked her up in a Mustang and was casually leaning on the hood as she watched nervously from her apartment. She realized then that the wrong kind of guy to fall for is someone who jokes around by letting go of the steering wheel while driving. “Avoid the type of guy who finds amusement in making you uncomfortable,” she advised.
Urban chic: The star of Up In The Air was seen wearing distressed jeans and a stylish green coat while stepping out of a car in New York City on Monday.
Be mindful of where you’re stepping: Anna carefully navigated from the vehicle to the curb in her elegant off-white boots. Despite her parents being divorced, Anna shared, “They taught me that staying together for the kids is not the right approach. It promotes a distorted view of what a healthy relationship should be.” In August, rumors linked the actress to cinematographer Ben Richardson, whom she had collaborated with on the 2013 film, Drinking Buddies. However, these days, it seems like Anna is embracing the single life. “Lately, I’ve realized that there’s no point in dressing up if I’m not enjoying myself,” she revealed to Fashion. “I’ve seen enough red carpets to understand that while many may think Taylor Schilling outshone Lena Dunham at the Emmys, I personally felt that Lena owned that red carpet more than anyone else. What’s the use of fashion if you’re not having a good time?”
